Our Eco mattresses are mattresses that have underwent Gateway Mattress co. rigorous reconditioning process. In this process mattresses are stripped down to their base foam and coil unit (if applicable), for any replacement foam, filled with new foam, then sanitized in an industrial heating chamber for 1 1/2 hours at 205 degrees. After this the mattress is topped with an extra layer of comfort foam (if applicable), new polyester fiber, and new rayon which acts as a flammability cover. Lastly the mattress is sealed with a brand new organic bamboo or cotton cover.

Old Covers are Never Reused.
